Edit client
The unique GUID and the data structure of the client are generated when a client has been created and saved (see Create or delete client). If you then edit the client, the URLs generated to call the client's WebAdmin are also visible.

To open the client management, enter http://<hostname>/multitenantadmin in the web browser (where hostname corresponds to the server on which the IQ4docs client management has been installed). If you are not already logged in, log in as an administrator (administrator with password admin by default).

In the client management, click Clients in the menu.

Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | Name of the client, freely selectable. |
Administration URL | The URL of the web administration is generated automatically. The client administrator needs this URL to access the client WebAdmin. |
WebClient URL | The URL of the web administration is generated automatically. The client administrator needs this URL to access the client WebAdmin. |
IP address range | Enter one or more IP address ranges for the client here. An IP address must only be assigned to one client (overlapping is not possible). These are IP addresses for devices and the computers that send a print job to the IQ4docs system (such as print servers). When a user prints, his print is identified by the IP address of the print server and his login and thereby assigned to the user. If a print job is sent from an IP address that is not assigned to a client, or if the user login cannot be found in the client, the print job is discarded. |

The license options of the client-capable license imported into the client management can be transferred to the client here, see also Licensing a client installation.
Licenses that are in use at the client cannot be removed. This automatically represents the minimum configurable value. The maximum value is the value of the remaining, unallocated licenses.
