Client list
A client is a group of people with their own devices and a IQ4docs administrator who uses the IQ4docs system. A possible scenario would be a company that wants to operate the printing system centrally, but wants to transfer the administration of users, devices, workflows etc. to its own branches.
Every client can use the system to its full extent, except for the following restrictions.

The WebAdmin of a client contains almost all settings that a normal IQ4docs installation also has. The following settings are different.

In the client environment, the use of E-MailPrint and WebPrint is not possible.

The client administrator decides which ports are used on the installation computer. However, the ports are available for all clients, see Print ports. In the WebAdmin of a client, a print input for RAW ports cannot be freely created; instead, a workflow can only be assigned to a predefined port, see Print Inputs (RAW, LPR, IPP, e-mail, folder).

Document processing (document inputs) cannot be used in a client installation, see also Document processing.

The use of system-wide PC-to-direct printer links is not possible in a client environment, see also Direct printer.
You can use the client list to open the client's Web administration or to manage the clients yourself.

To open the client management, enter http://<hostname>/multitenantadmin in the web browser (where hostname corresponds to the server on which the IQ4docs client management has been installed). If you are not already logged in, log in as an administrator (administrator with password admin by default).

In the client management, click Clients in the menu.

To sort the list, click on the desired column header. Click again to reverse the sort order (marked with an arrow).
To show or hide columns, right-click on the column header and select the desired columns or click the Columns button (if present). By default, not all available columns are displayed. The selection of columns is stored in the browser's Local Storage and is reset when this data is deleted in the browser.
Below the list view, you can use the navigation buttons to navigate through the data records and set the number of records displayed.

If no clients exist in the system yet, create clients, see Create or delete client.
The list view then shows the data of the clients. The following fields are available in the list view:
- ID: The generated GUID of the client. This is the unique identifier of the client.
- Name: Name of the client.
- System quantity: Number of devices in the client environment.
- Number of users: Number of users in the client environment.
- IP address range: IP address ranges of the client (displayed in list form).
- Workflow licenses: Number of licenses for Embedded Client devices available to the client.
- OCR licenses: Number of OCR licenses available for the client.
- 1D barcode licenses: Number of licenses for 1D barcodes available for the client.
- 2D barcode licenses: Number of licenses for 2D barcodes available for the client.

You are able to open the WebAdmins of all clients without entering a password from the client management. To do this, click the Open Administration icon in the list view of the clients.
The clients themselves use the URL from the client details to open the WebAdmin, see Edit client.
