PDF to TIFF module
The PDF to TIFF module converts a PDF file fed to the module into a TIFF file. It does not matter whether the PDF file previously contained an image file or consisted exclusively of vector-based (text) elements.
The destination file in TIFF format has a resolution of 96dpi (screen resolution) and exactly the same format as the paper size of the PDF file (DIN A4 corresponding to 793 x 1122 pixels).
Only PDF files can be input to the module. The module passes on other file types without modification.

The module can occur several times in the workflow.

There must be a PDF file present when this module is used, e.g. if a PDF file was fed during a document workflow or a PDF file was generated from the Document Processing module.

Meaningful downstream modules can be, for example, target modules, if, for example, a TIFF file is to be stored.

No restrictive modules.

The module has no settings.

The ImageService processes image data (e.g. from scans) and performs file format conversions, image optimization and the OCR function. It stores files in desired destination directories (depending on the module used, the rights of the user executing its application pool are used for this purpose). Its log file is Logs\ImageService.log.
