Display Of Costs And Credits

The cost of the print jobs and the user's account balance can be displayed on the device and in the WebClient. This is particularly useful if you want to bill the costs of the print jobs (see Accounting). However, the costs can also be displayed or hidden independently of the billing.

To open the web administration, enter http://<hostname>/webadmin in the web browser (where hostname corresponds to the server on which IQ4docs WebAdmin was installed). In a client environment, enter the URL that you received from the client administrator (for example, http://server/webadmin/#/cf992178-4bd6-431c-b815-b9d734d0ded3). If you are not already logged in, log in with a user that has administrator rights (login and password) or as the IQ4docs system administrator (administrator with password admin by default).

From the Web Administration menu, click Accounting > Accounting Settings.

Enable the option Show page prices in WebClient and Embedded Client. This means the prices are then already displayed on the device. Concerning display in the WebClient, please note the following point Price display in the WebClient.

In order for the prices to be displayed in the WebClient, it is also necessary for at least one device to have been marked as a favorite (one price list is always assigned to one device). The cheapest price is then displayed in the list of print jobs in the Cost column (the price list of the favorite devices with the cheapest prices for the print job is used as a basis), see Device overview and My Print Jobs.
