Locations
Locations describe the location of a device and contain further information such as a contact person.
Locations can be saved locally in IQ4docs. If SimpleClicks is used, these data only need to be maintained in IQ4docs - they are automatically synchronized with SimpleClicks, see also Fleet Management.
You can manage locations as described below:

To open the web administration, enter http://<hostname>/webadmin in the web browser (where hostname corresponds to the server on which IQ4docs WebAdmin was installed).

In the web administration, click Device > Locations in the menu.

To sort the list, click on the desired column header. Click again to reverse the sort order (marked with an arrow).
To show or hide columns, right-click on the column header and select the desired columns or click the Columns button (if present). By default, not all available columns are displayed. The selection of columns is stored in the browser's Local Storage and is reset when this data is deleted in the browser.
Below the list view, you can use the navigation buttons to navigate through the data records and set the number of records displayed.

The following fields are available in the list view:
- Location ID
- Location name
- Location no.
- Contact person
- Street
- ZIP
- Version
- Country
- Administrative identifier

You can access the details dialog by clicking on the Edit icon in the list view of the locations.

Above the list view, there is a search field that allows you to search for locations. Enter any term you want to use to search for a location in the list. The search is executed immediately and the results list is displayed. All relevant text fields are searched.

To create a location, click the Create Location button. Alternatively, you can also create a location using the device import. When a device is created via the device search, an existing location can be selected at once.

To delete a location, use the edit or delete button at the end of the line. If the fleet management is activated, the location data must be edited or deleted in SimpleClicks.

It is also possible to export locations as a CSV and of course to import them via CSV.
The number and order of the fields must be adhered to strictly. The column header, i.e. the first line of the file, is not imported. The identifiers of the fields are not relevant.
The number and order of the fields in the import file must be adhered to strictly.
